Overview
Dough Maker is a dough calculator and recipe companion developed by Harry Wolff. This policy covers the app and this website. You do not need a Dough Maker account to use them.
Information stored on your device
The app stores saved recipes, calculator drafts, preferences, and purchase access status locally on your device. The free web calculator stores preferences in your browser and does not save a recipe library.
Optional iCloud Backup
On iOS, Pro users can choose to back up saved recipes and settings to a JSON file in their own iCloud Drive. The current unsaved calculator draft is not included. Apple provides iCloud storage under its own terms and privacy policy. Dough Maker does not send these backups to a developer-operated recipe server.
Automatic backup is optional. Restoring a backup is a separate action. Turning off backup or resetting local app data does not delete existing iCloud files; you can manage those files in iCloud Drive.
Analytics and advertising
The website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and usage, including pages viewed, browser and device information, and referral sources. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes usage information under Google’s privacy policy. The native app does not include an advertising or general-purpose analytics SDK. The website hosting service may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver the website.
Exports and sharing
Recipe exports, clipboard copies, and shared calculator links are initiated by you. A shared calculator link can contain your formula, so anyone who receives the link can read it. You choose where to send or store exported information; the receiving service’s privacy practices apply.
In-app purchases
Optional paid features are purchased through the platform’s app store. The platform processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices. Dough Maker uses purchase status to determine which features are available and does not receive your payment card details.
Support and external links
If you email dough-maker-support@hswolff.com, the developer receives your email address and the information you include so they can respond. Links to the App Store and other external services are governed by those services’ policies.
Data retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it using the app’s controls, clear browser storage, or remove the app, subject to platform backup and storage behavior. Copies you export or back up to iCloud remain until you delete them separately. Contact the developer about information you sent in a support request.
Children’s privacy
Dough Maker is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the developer, please contact support.

Updates will appear on this page with a revised date as the app and its data handling change.
